"We have had Mia (formerly Anya) in our lives for nearly a month now and we already cannot imagine life without her. We cannot thank Strays Without Borders enough and would recommend them to anyone looking to give a dog a forever home. SWB have given us endless support and advice throughout the whole process and have even brought us together with other adopters to share tips and photos along the way, which has been amazing. Every worry that we had, SWB reassured us, so if anybody is sceptical of adopting from abroad, this is one organisation that we can genuinely say they put the animals welfare first and are playing a huge part in reducing the suffering of stray animals in North Macedonia.
We cannot believe how loving, gentle and trusting our Mia is considering her first 5 months of her life were on the Macedonian streets. Her calm temperament around other animals and people gives us a sense of joy and pride. Everybody she meets comments on her beautiful face and how friendly she is. She has adapted ever so well to her new life and is growing in confidence each and every day. Her personality is shining through as time goes on and it’s lovely to see how happy she is becoming.
