Grandpa Lowie was found in a terrible condition this summer, hiding under a bench, waiting to die.

We assume that he was abandoned by his previous owners after his condition worsened. He was practically bald as a result of a tick borne disease that is easily treated, but his owners probably didn’t care to bother.

We didn’t have high hopes for him when we took him, but to our surprise he made an amazing recovery!

Despite his age, he is one of the most active dogs at the kennels. Loves to be around other dogs and people and is very sweet with children.

He is missing couple of teeth, which we assume could be a result of an injury. Other than that he is an a good condition and ready to find his new family and forever home.
