Amber (was Hannah)

"We had been looking for the right dog for a while when I came across the rescues facebook page. The idea of rehoming a dog in need really appealed to me and the fact that most of the dogs were able to be homed with younger children was also encouraging. I could have offered to rehome any one of the dogs up for adoption but when scrolling through found ‘Hannah’. She was advertised as being extremely shy and needed to be rehomed with another friendly dog.  I knew straight away she was the dog for me! I enquired and was helped by one of the admin for whom nothing was too much trouble. 

Within a week I had agreed to adopt Hannah, I was sent papers and a home check was arranged and then a group chat was set up with Snezana in Madedonia. This was great!  Snezana kept us constantly updated with photos and videos. I was always aware of what was going on. Snezana worked extremely hard on sorting transport to get Hannah and other dogs in the UK as soon as possible.  The journey down was a long one but the dogs were well looked after and again a group chat was made for all those eagerly awaiting their new additions. They were all walked regularly, fed, watered and cleaned. As they came from Macedonia they have to spend 2 nights in kennels before we could collect them. Unfortunately the kennel was 4 hours away from us and when I asked Snezana for help she sorted out someone to collect Hannah for us and meet us nearer to where we live. 

Snezana is amazing!  She works so hard and must have so many chats on the go with all the dogs she has rehomed but still finds the time to respond to everyone.  The aftercare, should you need, is also great!

Hannah has been with us for a week now and has come on in leaps and bounds! She knew from when she arrived where to go to the toilet and certainly where her food bowl was! She is extremely clever and loves the children. I would not hesitate to recommend the process to anyone who is a dog lover. In fact, I am certain I will be offering my home to another of Snezana’s rescues once Hannah is settled (which doesn’t seem like it will take too long!).
