“When we received Akira at 10pm on a cold evening, she was skinny and dirty. The driver picked her up and passed her into my arms and I instantly knew I wanted to love her and take care of her forever.
The process of having a rescue dog hasn’t been smooth sailing as she’s had to learn to trust us and adapt to a new routine of living in a house. She quickly got to love her bed and often lounges in it throughout the day. A rewarding moment was seeing her play with her toys for the first time, this took months because she didn’t know what they were! Now every night after her dinner she is there nudging your leg with her monkey to play.
Akira makes us laugh everyday with the silly things she does, her personality is second to none! She is unique and beautiful in every way. We love Akira with all our hearts and regret nothing about saving this scruffy dog from Macedonia. I would recommend anyone to adopt a dog, they love you unconditionally and it’s so rewarding to see them grow.
